Business Development Veteran To Provide Strategic Guidance On Greenfly’s Growth and Sales Initiatives In The Asia-Pacific Region
SANTA MONICA, CALIF. (April 15, 2025) – Greenfly, the leader in powering content operations for the world of sports and entertainment, today announced Stuart Wettenhall has joined the company as the Director of Business Development and Strategy, APAC, to further global market development in the Asia-Pacific region. With a decade of experience in business development and strategic growth in big tech and sports, Wettenhall will play a key role in expanding Greenfly’s reach and partnerships across APAC.

Wettenhall has a breadth of experience across media, entertainment, technology and sports, specializing in new market entry and partnership sales strategy. Previously, Wettenhall served as the Director of Business Development at Twitch, where he managed enterprise gaming and digital commerce partnerships. He played a key role in launching the platform’s sports vertical which included partnerships with FIFA and Real Madrid.

Prior to joining Greenfly, Wettenhall was also part of the founding team behind Moonbug Entertainment, later acquired by Candle Media for $3 billion, and led digital innovation units at BBC Studios in London. Having qualified with PwC in Australia he spent 10 years between the US and EuropePwC before returning to Australia to advise the AFL on the launch of a major OTT streaming and loyalty product.
